The Peachliner

This was a people mover near Nagoya that opened in 1991. It ran for 7.4km with seven stations. Due to crippling maintenance costs and a severe lack of passengers, the decision was made to close the line in 2006 after just 15 years in operation. A few small sections have been removed, but as of 2022, the majority of the infrastructure still remains…
