Nestled in the green tea fields of Shizuoka, this is supposedly Japan's shortest railway tunnel. There used to be a cableway running above the railway in the 1930s so this tunnel protected the line from falling objects. The cableway was dismantled many decades ago, but fortunately the tunnel remains!
