Churui Station in Hokkaido stopped being a railway station in February 1987 when the Hiroo Line closed. But the building was preserved so it's now a free local museum of sorts.
There's a great set of signs,

a wooden building,

an old style ticket gate,

one of those window things with lots of holes in it,

and a collection of freight trucks.

It was a lovely place to look around.
